I blog drunk one time and the entire Tumblr leftist community falls to pieces.
I can’t say I’m not flattered.
Fuck it. The point of tonight might as well be to scare followers away (since that’s what’s happening) so I can make occasional personal posts without them getting all pissy.
Those who survive are the elite of the elite.
linhatesyouxo replied to your post: i like history, politics, anthropology, punk rock, girls, vanilla/orange swirl ice cream (will settle for chocolate). i read your blog (also ows) to get other perspectives on current events.
Dude, you’re so wrong. Orange flavored stuff is wonderful.
Dude, you’re obviously suffering from some kind of taste-bud disorder. All orange flavoring tastes like...
spaesbawlzthetumblargh asked: I'm Alexa, I live in SoCal. I've been following you for a while so I most likely started when I saw your name around and stayed for the insightful-ness and news. I like writing, which is usually me yelling about oppression or capitalism, and I make things sometimes (pictures/graphic designs but sometimes music) but I'm the worst artist ever to draw a stick figure. I'm a...

So clearly I missed something tonight. I don’t know who did/said what but depression is a serious thing that should not be taken lightly. Someone very close to me struggles with it, and it hurts her every day and I worry about her safety every minute I’m awake. It’s a fucked up disease that uses every grain of your own intelligence against you.
Like I said. Don’t know what...
onspacehardware asked: Oh, no, your nonbinariness is actually pretty important to my following. Solidarity~*~*~ I've got hereditary spherocytosis! It means I almost died as a little kid so they took my spleen, and now I'm supposedly immunocompromised and I can't give blood because anemia. However, my immune system has clearly adapted, because I never get sick. Ice cream in a shell is boss, I told you. I...
At this point I’m just seeing how long I can stay occupied/awake with 4 hours of sleep, a long work day, and yet undetermined amount of vodka-for-the-lulz in my system.
I’ll probably delete most of these posts tomorrow morning because they’re stupid and no one cares. This one especially.
onspacehardware asked: Hello, it's Jhon, of course -- North Carolina, 21, because you have good political opinions and are a badass fellow nonbinary, I write (poetry and fiction), I have a hereditary blood disease, anddd my favorite ice cream is vanilla dipped in chocolate shell, mmmm delicious.
carton-rouge asked: Montreal, 22, because your posts are quality and informative, i like computers activism and wasting time, i once visited Scotland but was too drunk to remember it, I am gay, and cookies n cream. In that order. Now, how have you been? :)
If I was as social in real life as I am on the internet I would not need to go on the internet.
theveganarchist asked: Hi, Jake. I follow you because I like pretty much all of your posts. I know, that's generic, but it's true. I am bisexual, but in a committed heterosexual relationship. My favorite ice cream is coconut-milk mint chocolate chip. I'm vegan. I suck at sports and I'm kind of a book nerd.
Guys ask me questions or something →
domesticterrorism:
Or tell me something about yourself. That’s even better. General location, age, why you follow me, hobbies, interesting factoids, sexual orientation, and preference of ice cream are good places to start..
Yep. I’m gonna be that person tonight.

Some Greeks Might Have to Pay for Their Jobs →
It’s being called the “negative salary”: Due to austerity measures in Greece, it’s being reported that up to 64,000 Greeks will go without pay this month, and some will have to pay for having a job. Numbers in austerity reports have usually reflected figures in the millions, since they reflect industry-wide cuts (i.e. a 537-million euro cut to health and pension funds)....

Anonymous asked: yea meant turn off. You got my point and answered it as I expected & I agree with you. Tell me if you agree with this: ppl should be realistic about their jobs and their lifestyle. But they shouldn't be depressed by it and quit. No point comparing yourself to a nazi officer taking orders. It's healthy to blame others, no point in claiming responsibility for all the things you...

Democratic Lawmaker Responds To ‘Fetal Pain’ Bill... →
A Democratic lawmaker in Georgia isresponding to a Republican-backed effort to prevent women from receiving abortions 20 weeks after fertilization with a tongue-in-cheek measure that seeks to limit men’s health care choices: legislation that “would limit vasectomies only to men who will die or suffer dangerous health problems without one.” “Thousands of children are deprived of birth in this...

My brother just told the dog to put his paws up so I ran into his room and said “‘cause you were born this way, baby!” and he didn’t get the joke so I just stood there like an idiot.

Evidently San Quentin guards are planning to retaliate to Occupy’s actions by keeping all inmates in solitary confinement for all of Monday. By the guards’ design, the inmates are reacting with resentment of occupiers.
Unfortunately 4,000+ men will spend 24 hours within the confines of an 8 X 4 foot cell without sunshine, exercise, classes, or work - in “lock down” all day...

Rick Santorum said something interesting recently about privatizing public land:
But there’s a lot of land out there that…can and should be managed by stewards who care about that land. I believe the land is there to serve man, not man there to serve the land. The federal government doesn’t care about it, they don’t care about this land. They don’t live here, they don’t care about it, we don’t...

Israel To Demolish Palestinian Solar Energy... →
A sustainable energy program in ‘Area C’ of rural West Bank is being threatened by Israeli authorities. The program, which recently installed solar panels and wind turbines in 16 communities, is providing 1,500 Palestinians with electricity — who were formerly without reliable energy.
The foreign aid program, thus far successful, has become a new target for Israel as it...
Guys I was going to reluctantly pay my heating bill so we don’t freeze to death but then I didn’t want to be a closeted, self-hating capitalist.
